Mesa was contracted to review the adequacy of a Utility District’s fire protection capabilities and make recommendations for upgrades to meet the current NFPA codes at their facility that is in a remote area with significant response times for emergency personnel.

A major electric utility company is rebuilding 20.17 miles of their 69kV line assets. Mesa is providing engineering and design services for the rebuild.

Mesa’s Power Generation group was contracted by a large electric utility company to support the installation of a Hydrated Lime Injection System (HLI) for a 924 MW coal-fired electric generating facility located in Florida. 

An animal and livestock nutrition supplier installed a new 800kW Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system to reduce operating costs, provide higher efficiencies for steam production, as well as offer a way to deliver consistent, reliable power around the clock as well as emergency power.

Mesa was contracted by a large Southeastern power utility to act as Responsible Engineer for a phase reversal switch replacement project at a 1,616 MW pumped storage plant. 

Mesa recently provided design/ modeling services for an electrical contractor to produce electrical shop drawings and calculations for a mission-critical data center in the southeast.

Working closely with the Client, Mesa led the development and implementation of new organizational/project delivery processes and procedures, new Standard Project Planning Packets (SP3s), and client engineering standards and guides.

Mesa provided substation engineering and design for this project which included three different disciplines including Protection & Control (P&C), Physical/Civil (PHY), and Telecommunications (COM).

Engineering support was provided to an industrial client for the installation of a new hydraulic dynamometer, auxiliary equipment, and tanks.
