Utilizing Mesa’s Project Management/Solutions Delivery Team, a major public utility was able to make organizational improvements, improve their engineering quality, and systemize their portfolio, program, and project management processes. Working closely with the Client, Mesa led the development and implementation of new organizational/project delivery processes and procedures, new Standard Project Planning Packets (SP3s), and client engineering standards and guides. Using Project Management Institute (PMI) and Organizational Project Management (OPM) standards, Mesa helped define an organizational governance that drives accountability, defines responsibility, and provides for the integration of resources and internal departments for the betterment of project teams. Thus, Mesa was able to help the client increase the engineering quality and execution competence they were needing to meet KPI’s.
