Tim Ramsey, PE, Promoted to Senior Vice President of Power Generation & Industrial

Mesa Associates, Inc. is happy to announce the promotion of Tim Ramsey, PE, to Senior Vice President of Power Generation & Industrial. Mr. Ramsey will oversee profit and loss for Mesa’s Power Generation and Industrial businesses, as well as management responsibility for power generation and industrial engineering and design. Additionally, he will oversee field technical services and the marketing and sales for Mesa’s new product offering: an innovative and modular hydro generating unit. 

Tim has been with Mesa for over twenty-two years, serving as a Vice President of Power Generation since 2011. Under his leadership, the company has managed to continue to grow through diversification of clients and service offerings. This growth was achieved along with maintaining high-quality deliverables and high customer satisfaction.    

“Tim has led the Power Generation Business Unit through continued growth during a time of transitioning electrical generation from fossil fuels to energy decarbonization,” said Mesa General Manager Reggie Headrick. “The engineering efforts with renewable power generation sources like wind, solar, geothermal, and biomass is significantly less than the effort with fossil fuels. Tim understands the engineering consulting business, has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, and is a big advocate of the Mesa family culture. We are blessed to have such a talented and capable individual to lead our Power Generation & Industrial Business Unit.” 

Mr. Ramsey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Tech University and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee. He is also a registered professional engineer in several states.
