Balance of Plant (BOP) engineering and design services are currently being provided by Mesa to relocate and modify the Sootblowers for a 2,100 MW Fossil Plant. Modifications to an existing boiler required the relocation of six Sootblowers, and the removal of six other Sootblowers. This effort provides a comprehensive and detailed engineering and design package suitable for the construction associated with the relocation and removal of the Sootblowers. Additionally the design includes modifications for existing steam piping, structural platforms, and electrical equipment. This multi-discipline, fixed price job will be completed in 2019.
