Mesa’s Hydropower Team will be attending the 2022 National Hydropower Association’s Waterpower Week in Washington DC on April 5-7. Waterpower Week provides the opportunity to connect industry professionals with each other as well as key policy makers face-to-face. Attendees benefit from educational/professional opportunities discussions with others within the industry. Some industry organizations, assets owners, and developers attending include:

- NGO’s
- Tribes
- Other waterpower stakeholders
Mesa’s Director of Hydro Operations, Boualem Hadjerioua, will be chairing two sessions on Wednesday, April 6. The first session is Session 7A: DOE’s Water Power Technologies Office: What’s on the Horizon? where attendees will learn from leaders in the field what lies ahead for conventional hydropower, pumped storage, and marine energy. The second session is the Waterpower Innovation Council (WIC) Meeting NHA Committee/Council Meeting 1A giving the audience the opportunity to hear from committee members.
