Dr. Boualem (Bo) Hadjerioua will be presenting on Mesa’s newly acquired small hydro technology at NHA Hydropower Week in Washington, D.C. during the “Water Power Innovation Showcase: Conventional Hydro and Marine Energy” session on Wednesday, March 13, from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM in the Senate Room.
The presentation will delve into the Tennessee Valley Authority’s (TVA) innovative technique of using surface water pumps to improve dissolved oxygen (DO) levels in turbine releases to meet the tailwater DO content’s limit requirements. Dr. Hadjerioua or one of his staff will present the findings from the proposed surface pumps.
