Engineering services are currently being provided on two process equipment packages at an aluminum manufacturing plant. The process equipment packages are distinct tasks that are required as a first phase of the plant’s growth. The reversing mill mechanical drive system is being replaced with equipment that has 40% higher mechanical throughput and a rolling solution system is being added. The Quality Inspection (QI) Station is also being replaced and a new transfer car system installed to deliver coils from the existing coil conveyor to the new QI Station. This multi discipline cost plus fixed fee project is scheduled to be completed in 2020.
