An electric utility in the southeast contracted Mesa to perform engineering services to reconductor and upgrade 16.53 total miles of a 230 kV line. The conductor replacement was essential in increasing the reliability and resiliency of the transmission system. Our transmission team was responsible for every transmission line design activity from project scoping to construction support along with performing the loading analysis of the existing structures and foundations, encroachment mitigation plans, and obtaining various permits.
