Mesa was contracted to review the adequacy of a Utility District’s fire protection capabilities and make recommendations for upgrades to meet the current NFPA codes at their facility that is in a remote area with significant response times for emergency personnel. The feasibility of upgrading the current CO2 Fire Suppression systems to Water Mist Fire Suppression systems was also evaluated. Our team identified specific code deficiencies and made risk reduction recommendations to provide an acceptable level of fire protection at the site.
