As the world is continuing to fight the Covid-19 virus, masks are one of the top PPE required to protect against the virus. However, those wearing a mask all day may begin to feel the strain on their ears or begin to have bruises and abrasions from the straps. One of Mesa’s own, an employees in our Chattanooga, Tennessee Office, took it upon themselves to begin to print a 3D face mask strap for their local healthcare workers. The straps are printed on a 3D printer and help to make wearing a mask constantly more tolerable and help against the strain of the straps. Mesa is donating money to help pay for the materials needed for our employee to help make these mask straps. So far, our employee has made around 40 straps, but with another printer on the way, and more materials coming in they expect to be able to produce around 150+ a day. The straps are being distributed to local ER workers first, and then other healthcare workers will receive them. #COVID19 #covid19response #MesaStrong #poweringthrutogether
