Mesa provided Civil, Physical, and P&C engineering and design services for a greenfield 230-100kV Tie Station for a major electrical power supply company in the East. Adding the new station will deliver adequate electrical capacity to maintain reliable electrical services. The station consisted of four 230kV lines, three 230/100/44kV, 448MVA Autobanks, six 100kV lines and two 100kV capacitor banks. Disciplines worked together to identify potential areas and scope discrepancies, eliminating rework and change orders throughout the complex project that is scheduled to be completed in 2019.
