Mesa has successfully completed numerous projects based upon sound engineering practice and proven project management techniques. Our success is predicated upon the execution of the following project critical success elements:
- Project Definition
- Communication
- Data Collection
- Cost Control
- Scheduling
- Quality
- Safety
Mesa has established methods for ensuring timely implementation of engineering projects. A written Project Execution Plan (PEP), prepared by the project engineer, provides detailed scope, schedule, key personnel assignments, and man-hour estimates. In addition to addressing the above elements, the PEP also defines and addresses the following:
- Project Specific Criteria
- The design basis of each system (i.e. Owner Requirements, UBC, NFPA, API, ASME, etc.)
- Environmental considerations and design safety factors
- Interface requirements
